Stomp out Hunger & Homelessness ^Featured

South Central Conference Youth Ministries & Partners to End Homelessness is sponsoring a Mini Health fair, Parade and Rally to help stomp out Hunger and Homelessness is Jackson, Mississippi.  The 2 day event will start Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with a Health fair for the homeless.  the days activity will include a hot meal for the homeless,  health screening, clothing giveaway and different vendors sharing their resources.  in addition their will be a stage with live performances from groups, choirs, and other forms of entertainment from around the state.  Saturday, March 29, 2014 the event will begin at 1:00 P.M. with a parade through downtown Jackson culminating with a rally at Smith Park.  The rally will include keynote speakers, local and state officials, entertainment and more.   We are asking that you bring non-perishable food items on Saturday to support Stewpot Community Services and help stomp out hunger and homelessness. This is your season, this is your cause, we all can make an impact here!  See you at the park!
